How to have a painless birth?

  1. Associate beliefs that birth is easy and painless. You need to associate another conviction about the feeling of birth.  What I did was to go nr 2 and associate the natural flow of it with birth. I know it’s weird. But think about it. The body knows how to do it perfectly. It has done it so many times. The only difference between nr 2 and birth is that the body has never done it before but the program of doing it exists imprinted in the DNA as well as nr 2. The feeling of the the muscles that push that out is the same. That sensation is what you need to attribute to the birth feeling. The easiness, the flow, the same “my body know how to do this very well”. The pushing is felt and sometimes you help your body push, but not every time.

  1. Listen to positive birth affirmations to install new beliefs related to the entire process of birth.

  1. Read everything you can put your hans on about birth to understand it. This will dismantle all unnecessary fears.

  1. Choose a place to give birth that you feel safe to be intimate in. Let’s remember that the birth is just the end of the process of reproduction that starts with sex. You need the same intimacy, safety, relaxation and even dim lighting. You know very well you cannot open not even for those 3-4 cm in diameter for that male of yours, if you don’t feel ready and safe.

  1. Read beautiful birth stories and make your own. Imagine it, visualise it often.

You will have an amazing birth experience to feel good aboutYou will start this family without any trauma to relive every dayYou will have good nights sleeping with your untraumatized babyYou won’t have any postpartum depression, only a heart full of love.

  1. Stay away from other people’s fears, and horror stories. Accept that each one of us is creating her own unique reality, thus experience (according to her own twisted and complicated beliefs) when it comes to birthing babies too.

  1. Know your birthing team. Knowing the people you choose to be by your side is equally important.
