Back On the Treadmill
My body was sad.
I did’t move in the previous days so I was really starting to feel it in my disappointed and stiff body. Not even some stretching. The reasons are simple: I have been working more on my website, plus I am in the week before my period. I am naturally down and tired.
My husband invited me to go on a scooter ride for a cappuccino, like we usually do almost every day. My wish to please him was strong but my body was louder. I decided that I needed to stay home and begin my day with a workout on the treadmill. We rented it back a few days ago but it was in the wrong place. So we moved it in the bedroom we use as an office, where I enjoyed it last month also.
I wasn’t feeling like it
but the voice of my body was strong. I needed to do it.
I got on… and my entire mood changed…
I flourished instantly. My body was peak happy.
This is a clear demonstration that even if you don’t feel like it, if you do it then you change your feelings.
So actions can determine feelings and not vice versa.
So don’t let feelings determine what choices you make. Do it despite not feeling like it. I am talking about everyday choices, like any sort of workouts. As the body is a machinery build for movement, the way to achieve its happiness is through movement. It will determine how it feels. Keeping the body happy is just a part. I am talking about all the parts that you must learn how to keep happy in my HuEman Evolution ebook. The soul, the mind, the heart also send thoughts on what they need. Learn how to distinguish them from each other, and most importantly from the voice of your AI that comes from your programming and most of times it does not know best. You, as the soul, must learn how to manage all the signals from all the components so you can drive life in the direction you want. And really live freely with you free will.
So I am not talking about ignoring your feelings when faced with a decision. This is something else.
Those feelings come from the heart that is like a compass letting you know which is the good direction according to your soul.
Choices and decisions are so different.
A choice is typically about selecting between options, often smaller, everyday things—what to eat, what to wear, which movie to watch. Choices don’t always have deep or lasting consequences, and they often feel reversible.
Choices can be made despite feelings, as a way to shift emotions and create a positive outcome.
Consistency is made through making the same choice every day.
A decision, on the other hand, is more deliberate and impactful. It usually involves weighing different factors and has a more significant influence on the direction of your life—choosing a career path, moving to a new country, ending or starting a relationship. Decisions tend to require more thought and commitment because they shape the bigger picture.
Decisions should be made with feelings, using them as a compass to align with deeper values and life direction.
