Your body is not you. You are the soul, the Observer, the one that experiences through the means of the body. You have chosen a body when coming to this planet in accordance to your wanted experiences/chosen path and your level of schooling on this planet. You are the creator itself broken into infinite fragments and you are experiencing yourself.
Your body is a machine that you live in and it comes packaged with the mind and hear. And for the best quality of life you need to learn how to use this machine with all its components that have very specific powers. Read more on the soul, mind, heart on blendingrainbows.com.
You are aware that you can give it any form you like because you are the creator and you can alter its form through thought and action. You can change the DNA anytime by practicing some types of rituals that you can find examples of on the Alter Your Body section. You can change its overall form but also individual body parts as the cells renew themselves every 30 days for the skin, to 7 years for the bones, and everything in between. So you have a completely new body every 7 years if you count bone renewal.
So this machine of yours is made for you to experience life on this planet.
It’s also the final link for the law of attraction, as any desire starts in the mind and is finished with action from the body. The body is the means through which you take anything form the spiritual realm and bring it over to the physical world. Read more on the role of the body in the Law of Attraction article on the MIND menu.
In the BODY section I will refer only to the physical part of taking care of your body and how your beliefs about your body matter.
Like every machine, the body runs optimally when properly taken care of. For its highest performance and the best quality of life in the health department of your life, you need to understand how to look after it.
You know already from the MIND section on the menu of BlendingRainbows.com that everything is based on beliefs.
Your body is the exact reflection of your beliefs.
Most of our core beliefs in this life come from society and parents, then from experiences. But the experiences with other people are still based on the same societal beliefs.
Please check what beliefs you have on every aspect of your body and why you have them, if you’re actually ok with having them, and how are they inhibiting your true self from expressing its uniqueness. Because you are actually depriving everybody of your amazingness.
Write down your beliefs about each topic and see it they’re work keeping, deleting, modified. The scope is to live your life with your own beliefs that you consider that are enhancing your quality of life, and not diminishing it, make you feel worse, unaccepted, unworthy, unfit, etc.
Your beliefs must make you feel sure of yourself and enjoy your life fully, according to your own soul’s desires. Not for anybody else, not for the co-created reality of society. You can create your own.
Your beliefs, thoughts and words create your reality you are living in. You can question every topic on this earth to verify your beliefs, why you got them and if they’re really useful to your own quality of life.
For any question ask yourself why seven times to get to the core belief.
For example:
Makeup
Covering your face makes you beautiful? How much is ok? How much is too much and how little is too little? Where does your feeling of self worth come from? Why aren’t you feeling accepted when not wearing any make up? Do you feel judged when wearing it and/or you are not? Does it really enhance your true beauty or is just hiding “defects”? Is it maybe covering the real you that you actually like? And you are just wearing it to fit in? Why?
How to get to the core belief:
Are you wearing it to fit in? Yes. Why? Because I need to look more professional. Why? Because I need people to take me seriously. Why? Because I’ve seen that women who have success in their business wear make up. Why? Because make up is considered to be a sign that you take care of yourself and women are considered ugly if they don’t wear anything. Why? Because society says so. Why? So that we buy more products. Why? So that companies make more money. Why? Because everyone is looking for ways to sell their products and the majority of companies know how to exploit fears and insecurities of people.
In this case the core belief revealed itself sooner than 7 whys but keeping putting the question reveals also the cause. Understanding the cause may dissipate the belief.
If you have found the belief but not the reason behind it, How can you change it if you want to get rid of makeup all together?
Look for examples of women who are successful that don’t wear make up, because there are a ton. Look for other ways that you can be considered clean and signs that you take care of your body that you would truly like to have in your life. Like clean hair and cut nails. Like a very fit body. Look for other ways to feel like you are respected and listened to, like talking and explaining skills, etc. that you can add to your character.
If how you are perceived by men is important to you, ask men (or find some videos on youtube or podcasts) what they prefer on women and you will find out that actually the majority of them prefer women with little to no make-up.
To the following topics add your own questions to find out where you stand and if beliefs associated with every topic actually benefit you or just complicate your life and waste energy on that.
Dye
Should you dye your hair or not? When should you start and why? When do you stop? What do you believe?
Hair
Curled, straight, washed, greasy?
Nails
How long is long and which method is more beautiful for you and why?
Perfumes
Smelling how is fitting you in your peer group? Is odor really existent if you were truly healthy?
Microbes
Touching everything means illness automatically? Where do you use cleaning products and why? What has simple but effective commercials done to your fears and your parents’s?
Body Type
What kind of body is the right one? Which one is for you? And why?
Being skinny, fit or fat? or just healthy and conscious?
Gender
Which gender is better and why? Being a man or a woman? Being masculine women or feminine man? Where is the balance? And where was it lost?
Menstruation
Does it really have to hurt? Can it be healed? Was it the way in which women were punished for the original sin to have pains during menstruation and childbirth?
Clothes
What culture do you belong to or to what peer group? How important are clothes to impress others or to be accepted?
Shopping for your body
How much do you need really? Is this an addiction or you are succumbed to the intrinsic mental marketing?
Morning breakfast
Is it really the most important meal of the day? Or this deep programing into people’s brains comes from a commercial in the 80’s that needed to sell more corn flakes?
Water fasting
Do you die if you do not eat for a few days? Do you become angry with no food? What is you programming around this subject? How about how many meals a day? Is diversity that important for your own unique body?
Deconstructing your beliefs around the subjects that are important to you will improve your life. You will set yourself free.
