And what if the baby doesn’t turn?

A baby can turn at any moment — even just a few hours before birth.

Sometimes, the ultrasounds in the last few months show that the baby is “head up.”

And the first reaction is fear: “What if the baby doesn’t turn? What if I can’t give birth naturally?”

Breathe.

The truth is that a baby can turn at any time — even just a few hours before labor begins.

Your body knows exactly what to do, and your baby knows exactly where he needs to be.

You and your baby are the same body

Until the moment of birth. And even for the next three years after. What you feel, your baby feels too.

If you panic, your baby tenses up.

If you are calm and confident, you send a direct message that it’s safe to be born.

Your calmness is essential.

It’s the inner signal that the world your baby is about to enter is gentle and welcoming.

That’s why you should do everything you can to feel peaceful.

You don’t need to do every single test that’s “in trend”.

Just do the minimum required for the place where you choose to give birth.

For example, at my second birth I only did:

• one ultrasound in the last month,

• one blood test for iron,

• one vaginal culture test.

That’s it.

And I was much calmer than during my first pregnancy, when I did everything they asked and lived in constant stress.

Guess who was more relaxed?

Exactly — the baby.

Because your baby mirrors your emotional state.

You may forget the stress after birth, but your baby keeps the energetic memory of the emotions experienced in the womb —

they imprint directly into the DNA and the neurons (as early programming).

And then we wonder why we have a child who is always anxious.

Well… how were YOU during pregnancy?

Your baby is essentially “printed” from who you were then.

Why be surprised if they don’t eat well, or feel unsettled?

Anything can be fixed

Even if you feel that you experienced anxiety, fear, or stress during pregnancy, I want you to know that everything can be healed.

Through therapies like VIS (Sleep Talking by Gabriel Mărgărit — I explain the full method in The Healing Code), which work by identifying and releasing the emotional root cause, you can completely clear those tensions — for yourself and for your baby.

But anyway, let’s come back to the main subject.

How you can help your baby turn

Your baby has a natural instinct to position themselves correctly — after all, they carry an incredibly intelligent ancestral DNA that (I’m guessing) you doubt every single day.

Still, you can support the process through simple movements that create more space in the uterus:

• walk daily — the gentle rocking of the pelvis creates space

• kneel on the bed with your hands on the floor and your hips higher — this position helps the baby slide down into place by creating more space

• gently rock on a birthing ball

• do light exercises and stretching

• practice rebozo (a technique that relaxes the pelvis)

• and if needed, there are also manual turning methods performed externally by a trained specialist

But I want you to know something very important:

Babies can be born perfectly healthy even when they come out bottom-first or feet-first.

The problem is not the baby’s position — the real issue is the lack of experience many doctors have with breech births.

If you choose to give birth in a hospital, look for a doctor who actually has experience with breech vaginal births.

They exist, you just have to look for them.

And most importantly, make sure you will have freedom of movement during labor and that you can adopt the instinctive positions your body will naturally ask for.

These positions are often essential in breech births.

The only position that truly requires a cesarean is the transverse one.

Fear is normal — but it can be transformed

We all have moments of fear. I had them in every pregnancy.

The fear of “the baby’s position” is one of the most common, but gentle rocking on the birthing ball helps enormously — not just physically, but mentally too.

As you move softly, your fear starts turning into confidence.

And day by day, that confidence grows.

And your baby, when the time is right, naturally drops head-down, guided by gravity and instinct.

How to tell how your baby is positioned

Ultrasound can show you the baby’s position — but your own hands can guide you too.

You can learn to feel:

• where the back is (a long, firm area, usually along one side of your belly)

• where the bottom is (a round, soft shape that moves slowly)

• where the legs are (stronger kicks, usually toward the middle of the belly)

• and where the little hands are (light, fluttery movements, like tiny tickles)

These sensations help you reconnect with your baby, feel them every day, and notice when they change position.

In the end…

Your baby knows the way.

All they need is your calm and your trust.

You don’t have to make the baby turn, you only need to create space, in your body and in your heart, so they can do it naturally.

Have faith.

Your body knows. Your baby knows. And your birth can be beautiful, gentle, and full of meaning.
